What's goin' on? My name is Jay and I'm from Blenheim. I see a couple of guys I know on this site..."Admin" and Cork. I've recently acquired a white/gold '07 Subaru Impreza STi from the States and just put it on the road last Friday. Break-in sucks, but look for me screaming around C-K this summer!

After months of begging and pleading my wife finally gave in and let me import it from Michigan. Gone is the luxury of my Lexus IS300, but the power is amazing so it's a fair trade in my opinion!

Why not turbo the JZ???
5 Speed would still be an option.

Seen a few of them sexy Subaru's in Toronto on the past 2 weekends. Very nice with the tell tale hood scoop.

Believe me I tried to get my wife to let me slap a turbo on that car, but to be honest it wasn't worth it. I'd need to buy a turbo kit, have it installed, AND get a manual tranny. Too much money for what the car is worth now. Maybe if I had bought it new it would have been a different story. By far the 2JZ motor is the smoothest inline 6 I've ever felt! The car is going to a good home though. Look for the white IS300 with hyperblack 5Zigen Heidfeld Mesh rims and the TRD grille running around the streets of Chatham starting next week.

Yeah, the STi is a little obnoxious when you consider the scoop and wing, but they're both functional so that makes it worth keeping them!
